Emergency Call is one of the greatest features in our GDS/TDS Lodging System. When an emergency happens in the guest room, the guest will make an  emergency call immediately. However, they probably may forget to mention their room numbers. This will delay the life-saving service. In order to solve this problem and provide a safety service to the Lodging Industry, we have add this feature in our GDS/TDS system and it benefits many Hotel/Motels which install our systems. The GDS 600 is  able to be programmed with the emergency code of any country in which it has been installed.

When a guest room lifts the handset, accesses an outside line and dials the emergency code the system will simultaneously ring ALL telephone sets in the operator group. At the same time the call is processed to the emergency operator on a trunk line. A voice announcement will be played indicating this is an emergency call along with the room number. This provides the emergency operator with the exact location of the emergency to dispatch required services. When any telephone within the operator group answers the emergency call the message will stop.
