We have developed a software feature for the G1E to support the network feature DUET.
For those not familiar with DUET it allows 2 different phone numbers to exist on the one line each with its own distinctive ring Cadence.
DUET was originally designed to allow a Fax and phone to exist on the same line and there are many Fax machines on the market which can distinguish between the Fax and phone ring and answer a Fax call but let the phone calls ring the parallel phone.

The other use for Duet is to allow a single line to have both a home and a business number and the user can answer appropriately by listening to the Ring signal.

Currently available for trial is a software version for the G1E that allows the system to do this and ring the appropriate extensions depending on which ring cadence is received.

The software is not standard yet and so any dealer who wished to trial it can either order a G1E specifically with trial software or upgrade an existing site.
